Weird thought: I visited a columbarium on Monday..had dinner at "Dove" Street on Thursday. On Friday, I found out that the etymology of columbarium is - Latin, literally, "dove"cote, from columba dove. Uhmm....
Aha, another twist to the etymology: dovecote is home for doves – soul or (holy) spirit is depicted as a dove – mortal remains of the spirit/soul is housed in a columbarium!
maybe I ought to look for roasted doves to eat as the next step...
