An acquired taste often refers to an appreciation for a food or beverage that is unlikely to be enjoyed by a person who has not had substantial exposure to it, usually because of some unfamiliar aspect of the food or beverage.
I obviously am the person who has not had substantial exposure to strawberry wines or wines for that matter :-)
just the occasional sherry, cognac, whisky, gin, vodka, merlot, cabernet sauvignon (and not even that much)...can't remember others I tasted while I was in California.
one of my favored wines actually just come from Marks and Spencer at galing Spain...which I always keep forgetting anong name..though I can recognize the bottle..haha!
golly...didn't know such a thing existed till you pointed this out to me Chito...hmm..san kaya ako makakuha ng fennel. but anyway, ma-try ko nga ito...lucky the other ingredients are easy to get...*sorry, stash of brandy is kaput*
fewer ingredients and it incorporates vodka..one of my preferred drinks...*rubs hand gleefully* looks like I need to take a trip to the liquor store or area..
or maybe mas ok yata if I do this in Cebu...at least my mom can help put be back to bed if I overindulge..haha!
haha..I was working at home and thought a glass or two wouldn't hurt while I was doing all my emails. I did double check my emails before sending them to see if I was saying something profound *wink*
Easy on those drinks!!!

Bugnay and Yacon wine :-)
ReplyDeleteah..let me drink my frustrations away with work still at this time *hic*
