After much pondering, but I've narrowed it down to (even if landing from Osaka) the following must-sees: Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Kamakura (Ancient Capital), Nikko (Shogun Country) and probably Disney Sea for trips around the Tokyo area. Golly, can I do this in one week? *research mode*
Nikko - at least 1 overnight stay (tentative)
ReplyDeleteHakone - at least 1 overnight stay because I think I can get more in with a visit to the sites, and a soak in a hot spring tub, coupled w/ Mt. Fuji view, lakes, mountains, and of course the historical site.
Ok, those who may venture on this post, and have gone to these places, please feel free to share tips and feedback, thank you!
I have been to Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and Kamakura. They are worth the trip!
ReplyDeleteayos...nag bus or train po kayo?
ReplyDeleteHindi po. Car. That was my first trip to Japan and my brothers-in-law were very accommodating. : )
ReplyDeleteah, nako mahal sa gas at sa nag-drive..hehehe....joke lang...ok din para maka-stop and look around kapag car..kaysa train na it zooms by...
ReplyDeletethat reminds me..for Nikko, did you also see either of the Yudaki, Ryuzu or Kegon falls?
ReplyDelete1 is near the Chusenji Onsen, the other sa Kinugawa Onsen (which funnily enough has an old Edo village na parang nag live ka sa lumang Japan)..
or don lang po kayo sa mga shrines and temples?
