I've not confirmed pa with Chito although he has texted me...I really want to join sana...unfortunately, am not sure anong state ng health ko after I return from Shanghai...
since baka ako lang magiikot..that means, I might need the weekend to recuperate since I still have some cough/colds from going around Davao..hehehe (ayan, gimikera kc)
Hi Cat. Make sure to bring a few ready to take medicine such as paracetamol for fever and headache, something for LBM, anti-histamine (for allergies), Bonamine (para sa hilo), Katinko for insect/mosquito bites and against dizziness. If you need to take liquid, take soda (e.g. coke) or bottled water. Befriend another tourist (Caucasian female if possible) at baka may nga tips about food, shopping, food, forex, etc. If you will go out alone try to appear as if you are part of a tour group. Get the contact number of the Philippine consulate or embassy and if possible make it a part of the areas you visit.

If you don't have travel insurance, it may be a good idea to have one. Try Blue Cross (www.bluecross.com.ph).
Stay healthy and stay safe. Hope you can join Che and me sa medical mission.
