Divine Mercy Chapel A at Sacred Heart Church. Burial is March 6. UPDATE: Burial may be moved to March 4 (Sunday) instead. Dad's youngest brother asked that it be moved as he had surgery scheduled for a patient on Tuesday in Manila. Well, I thought the widows wishes were to be respected but then again...its an up and down scale.

    By the way, Cat, if you don't mind may I know what your Dad's age is now?

    Thanks Chito...I have always loved this church because we could hear the bells pealing for mass and Christmas mornings...

    He was born in 1925..so he was 86 years old.
    By November this year he would have been 87.

    He is survived though by his older sister Tita Lagring (who I think is 91 or thereabouts) and who still is sprightly and his younger bro Tito Rudy who is probably 83...

    Ah namatay na kc yung iba Tochie. The other pilot died matagal na. May isang miscarry. Namatay na ang eldest. D youngest is is in the US now.

    yep..7...counted ko rin kc yung either na miscarry or parang was born but died whilst still in infancy..

    I don't think I was able to text all of the friends I've had still in my fonebook...so update here only in FB and MP.

    I just got back from the pag-bilar at the wake last night

    ...It was just my dad and my mom and me in the chapel at 2:45 a.m. upwards..and amidst the wreaths, candles, pews etc.

    ...I thought that since I last visited Cebu for my Christmas and New Year holidays in 2011 (left before Sinulog 2012).....this was the first time that all three of us were together....and the first time that we "slept" together under one roof again since January.

    your DAd is as old as my Mum..also November born, November 7, 1925...hailed from Cebu too..but Mommy passed away 6 years ago..gosh Feb. din pala yun..

    thanks Nona...gamit na gamit cellphone and sometimes ang laptop (once I get back home coz no wifi at the wake).

    a colleague of mind (am working from home kc nag bilar ako kagabi with my mom lang don) reminded me that 5 years na kami bukas sa HP...there are a few of us left from our onboarding batch..hayz..totally slipped my mind.....
