waaah...I knew the film Babe.. well in this case, kung alam nya lang what's ahead of him/her, di na siya makakatulog..how I wish to be a pig..eh..piglet na lang :)
We took pictures of the huge preparation one family was doing for the evening repast - they always have open house after the Thursday procession. This family butchered four pigs for the ulam, 2 for lechon. Then I spotted this pig under a small table. It was waiting in line just in case the food was not enough. I quickly pointed him out to Rudy and Cat.
It was sleeping so innocently - may ngork ngork sounds pa siya as if talking to somebody in his dreams!
Come to think of it- what's a pig's purpose on earth? Isn't it born to provide sustenance and pleasure to human beans? Aanhin ang baboy kung di man siya maging Lechon? Aanhin pa ang baboy na hindi naging chicharon?
There should be no false pity for a pig, a fish, a rabbit, a cow. Them's food!

actually magandang simile para Lent although its ironic..*grin*
maybe weird what I will be saying..but if Jesus died on the cross for our sins...how can we also not think and be thankful for God's creatures giving up their lives for our continued existence?
just because they may be said to be soulless...they were given life and humans had taken it away...

that little pig went to market!...yan ang nakukuha ng mga batugan, kakatulog, nakatay!
