Thanks for the photos Cat. You are still awake?! It's Misa de Gallo in less than two hours. You might fall asleep when you hear Mass.

Why zero in on my age?! We had young classmates who no longer had hair. Harharhar! Or who were already middle mangers but acted like giddy, not-so-honest kids (to put it mildly). Wink!

Don't worry, bk69, you will have your wish of the best bibingka and puto bumbong when you get here for Bacchanalia 2007. These happen to be served in Via Mare, a restaurant chain offering traditional Pinoy fare served with a touch of nouvelle cuisine flair. I can bring you to the Via Mare branch in Shangri-la Mall where right beside it is Gloria Maris – the resto that serves the heavenly taho I told you about. Indulge! =)

Super, I can't wait. Ilang buwan na lang. If you haven't read any replies from me lately is because Helen and I are on holidays in a much warmer environment, trying to get away from the bitter cold of the north. Pero sabi ni Helen, palusot ko lang daw yon, sabi nya I'm actually hiding from fund-raising carolers and materialistic godchildren who want nothing less than a playstation or x-box. What happened to the good old yo-yo, trumpo, and toy cars made of tin?

Hahaha, tama ka about materialistic expectations during Christmas. This very spiritual occasion has become so commercialized. So, for this Christmas, hugz has decreed (hehe, pag galing kay hugz, decree 'yun as far as our nuclear family is concerned) that our gifts to each other should be something that we have made ourselves. Come to think of it, mas mahirap ito! =)

Great idea! Mas mahirap kasi hindi nabibili. You’ll have to make it yourself, kaya mas meaningful at saka coming from the heart ang pagbibigay. Likewise, yung recipient, kasi alam nyang ginawa mo ang regalo, hindi sya nage-expect ng mahal na item, kundi isang bagay na mahalaga na pinaghirapang gawin.

BTW, I brought my laptop with me that’s why I can still browse the internet, including Multiply. Unfortunately, computer time is down to a minimum kasi maraming happenings. Once again, Merry Christmas to everyone. Aren’t you expecting the whole clan over for the Christmas holidays, gwiz? I’m sure cuh888 will fly home to Cebu.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, too, bnk. And to you and your family, too, Cat!

The last of hugz’s family that we are expecting from abroad arrived this afternoon. Sunod-sunod na ang happenings niyan all the way to our eldest son’s (zionson in multiply) wedding on January 7. We are holding the traditional Yonzon Games on December 30 instead of the usual January 1 because a Yonzon nephew (Alfonso Rodrigo Yonzon Quemuel) is getting married on January 3 and we do not want to be too pooped for that event.

I doubt if we can go online this season as much as we usually do. We are still rushing the house extension (finishing touches), would you believe?! Waaah!

Knowing hugz, though, watch out for a deluge of holiday photos this January. LOL! =)
