Holy Week 2009 -> CC is home

Start:     Apr 4, '09 10:00a
End:     Apr 12, '09
YEHEY! or on second thought...should I just go to Cebu City for a sleep-athon?

choices:
- trip to Osaka
- trip to Cebu
- trip to Macau
- no trip coz nag-recession..

before I used to moan how I wanted to go on a trip but could not due to work or not being allowed to be on leaves during holidays..but with this change of having forced shutdowns, its now a case of having time off and not deciding where to go or maybe not having enough dough ...(wow, it rhymes!)

    Chito..di kaya ka isang gambler in your past life? mahilig ka kc sa Macau eh...

    am really tempted by Beijing and Shanghai..pero takot sa pagkain.....

    cge, am going to email and contact the 2 travel agencies I know here...baka may news on Monday if its not that expensive..ayoko naman 20K gastos ko e 2 1/2 days lang yata...teka..ok lang ba 2.5 days?

    Three days is ideal. Pero kung mag-isa ka lang, ok na siguro ang 2.5 days. The two Chinese cities are also okay. Kaya lang grabe pollution. Pero kung di ka naman hikain, no problem yan. Besides, Shanghai is a shoppers' paradise. Sa Beijing naman, you can get a day-trip that includes a visit to the Great Wall and the recent Olympics venues

    thanks for the tip...for Shanghai and Beijing..am not going to put it inside a 2.5 day trip though..more of 1 week or more na trip..kaya nga I was stuck when confronted with a short 3 days..parang di sanay..waaah!

    naku..my respiratory system is medyo mahina ngayon..though am not asthmatic thank goodness..buti sinabi mo..I hate pollution...

    have you heard of staycation? where you 'stay' and take a vacation in your town. ayun tipid. stay at a local hotel, see the sights dito sa manila, take a vacation but stay. hehe

    of course...while I do my trips I think of my Multiply family...

    example, makakita ako ng wok, iniisip ko si Helene..
    makakita ako ng chinese food, maiisip ko si Meann..
    makakita ako ng pineapple, maiisip ko si Joey...

    etc. etc...

    hahaha...good idea...but am kinda sick of being in Manila, or Luzon..paibang environment sana..ewan ko ba...it would be more practical sana if I just say at home and just stay put...but its so difficult to get good off days...sayang...

    if mga transpo systems pa dito ayos..I would have hopped and one off to northermost tip of the Phils...in other words, kung sa atin e parang may bullet train lang kagaya ng Japan..umikot na ako..but just thinking of going off somewhere here in Luzon is making me shake my head...

    at saka..shempre budget na...I still want to travel but with the recession and everything...I've got to be more careful about it...*wink*

    I think I've waited long enough and by now, I've lost a good number of cheap tickets already for Cebu...

    so I am going to buy a round trip airfare for my hometown..nothing like suffering jellfyfish stings and sunburn on the beaches if we do go on a visit on Holy Week...

    if punta ako Tacloban, ok ba on the days before Holy Thursday, say Mon or Tues...then overnight ako or 2 days? tentative lang to ha..kc di ko naman alam anong mga activdades dyan eh...I don't normally travel on Good Friday and Holy Thursday..

    couple of times I went there, I texted either Minnie and I think one or two others, wala may imik..so *shrug* baka busy...

    text me, and let's arrange it with others there...

    I think I can reach Kathryn Faciol (if ok pa ang cell), si Leila, si Joanna (if ok pa ang cell), then if Minnie is there from US, ok pod...Chona, and I have to check my cell..
