young people crave here for Dakine, mind you mine is for girls ng Dakine, eh ano....heheeh, but I love it..Samsonite and Travelite ang uso dito, I don't know this Tumi yet..mukhang mahat yata talaga..:)
Samsonite is an old standby...iba kong kilala dito mahilig ng NorthFace (haler, guys kc hehehe)...
but I've slowed down these days :-)
Dakine am not familiar so much...when I pass by GB5 and I see all these branded stuff, some of them I just really say - phew - pangit naman design, pangalan nga lang hahaha...but Tumi so far has simple and classic lines - very good material and ok din designs and color combo...
I was so happy before when I found out they were going to open here in GB5..hehehe..but I still ended up buying the bags abroad...shoot..laki rin patong dito ng tax etc.
here's the site of Dakine, I find the system of Dakine very practical, Trolley and like two big knabsacks zipped together..there are nets inside like inner pockets and belts, I've never seen such a system..unlike other briefcases where one would find like only. garter belt to hold the clothes..
although I don't recall the styl eof 2 big knapsacks being zipped together in Tumi because they have a couple of collections, and I only go for particular favorites (or kaya sa bulsa), I think the other styles you mentioned nandon din sa travel luggage nila...
I don't understand German in what I have seen on the site, luckily the pictures show the interior...ok din...pero parang walang outlet yata dito..or baka may collections being sold in some bag stores...
however for travel, I really go for light and durable luggages as I have a tendency to toss everything except the kitchen sink in :-)
Tumi or not Tumi...
