Short photowalk on an errand

Makati buildings view from Magallanes Station

One day in April 2010, I went to pick up my Kodak V803 which was up for repair after its powerboard gave up the ghost in Sagada.

The top of a mall I've not yet visited

It was a sweltering hot afternoon, and I wanted to save money as the repair cost was already putting a dent into my increasingly thinner purse.

That meant walking and taking the train for some part of the journey.

I wonder what these were for?

I brought my GE cam along as I always thought walking outside was something new for my eyes to look at aside from my work laptop.

Along the way I managed to discreetly snap a few pics as I didn't want to be termed a tourist.

Train and cars go about their business

  1. Nice view from the train.
Is the train system efficient in Manila?
I wish more of us would take it to reduce traffic and pollution all over.
I find it more pleasurable and less stressful without having to drive and deal with traffic.

  2. pics were taken more when I was on the train station and walkway....it was just too hot along Pasong Tamo to be pausing and taking pics...(also am not sure if its that safe).

MRT along EDSA is what I have been using for a long time to go from North to South and so far its ok..though I wish we had more trains so I didn't have to wait that long...and that it was like Japan..that you could set your time from the train schedule (meaning they are so efficient you could set your watch by them).

I love trains ...I hate buses here...

  6. well, maybe in the future the electric or solar powered jeepney can go far here...

come to think of it, I haven't tried the electric one said to be going around and around Makati...

its only in Cebu that I can be brave with jeepneys (even with the hold-ups ha), here I am not happy with it at all...bahala na train ako from here to Timbuktu...

speaking of which, I don't know why they put more machines in so we can buy tickets....long queues do not make happy passengers...:-(
