  2. It's a Chinese lucky numbers. Wonder how you kept track of them. I only do that on the odometers of my company cars. I make landmark notes as to where my car ends up when it hits 88, 888, 8888. Only one car made it to hit 88888. That one I drove it till it hit 108,000 miles.

  7. Cat, Did you know that 8 to the 8th power is 16,777,216? That's more money than I will earn for the whole year; believe it or not.

  8. 888th post? Wow, you're one prolific Multiplier. Keep going.

I used to post actively in Multiply - just about anything I did, been involved in, or places visited I posted. But nobody seems to pay any interest in my postings because nobody views them. Now I post only things that are of particular interest to ME, and Multiply is simply a storage for my photo albums.

  9. talaga?

not that there is a subliminal political message behind this message of mine :-)

    ReplyDelete
  10. hahaha..kc may iba akong profile dito rin sa Multiply...which I do post konti..but only for my use...

    ReplyDelete
  11. thanks BNK...

really? nobody viewed them? I find that hard to believe with Val and the others being there...baka timing lang na di active masyado sa Multiply...

I want to share information and views of the places I've been to..in the hopes of people being enticed to go and see it for themselves too...

  12. hi Al,

well, I can't count my money actually....

but its because there's nothing left...

    ...so nothing to count...*grin*

    ReplyDelete
  13. So, "unofficially" that could mean another 800+ more? And that is not counting your FB posts (and whatever else you have posted in other social networks you are registered with).

    ReplyDelete
  14. ..and not counting those I've posted as replies to other people's postings...e ako pa naman...usually comment ng comment...hahaha!

  15. Meron kayang world-record holder ng social media posts? Baka ikaw na yun or at least contender dun :-)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't think I can rate....I'm behind postings actually....yung Beijing ko nga di pa tapos till now....*crestfallen*

  17. Actually, Cat, you don't really have to post everything. If I may suggest: What I do is whittle down the number of posts to not more than 30 (maximum na yung thirty). I know I may have taken a thousand photos especially if the trip or event is a long one, i.e. more than two days. Dati ganun din ako, i.e. lahat gusto ko i-post. But I thought maybe the viewer or reader may not be so interested in seeing all of them. So I select 50% out of the 1,000. Then another 50% out of the 250, then another 50% of 125, ans so on until it's around 30 photos or so na lang ang natira. At kung talagang yung 250 kailangan talaga i-post lahat, then I resort to "serializing."

    Suggestion lang po.

  18. uhm...actually Chito am not posting everything.

with 3 cameras...what you see as posted here are already whittled down...

however, I do post to a travel group I've signed up for...and it gets whittled down further and edited para mas suitable for those who may want tips on how to get to a place...

It bugged me before na di ko ma-in-sequence...e parang naisip ko...so what if its out of order, basta yun yung feel ko ilagay today, problema na sa nagbasa *and laziness rears it head again*

    ReplyDelete
  19. huhu...binigyan ko ng problema si Chito yata....kc nagbasa sya...*grin*

  20. thanks for the link Chito...

I checked the list..thank goodness I'm not yet addicted...and am being serious ha!

for one thing, I think I was saved kc I am not signed up in Tweeter and my FB posts are a trickle...good thing pwede cross-post from here...hahaha!

I guess being online for a good part of the day due to my work has made it very easy for me to post to Multiply :-)

I ought to thank FB for getting me and my school batchmates together...but am glad we see each other up close and personal rather than just click Like and Unlike in FB..hehe...

  21. congratulations on your 888th post!!! heres to 888 more=)

  22. I did notice that some of my acquaintances at the office have abandoned FB permanently..more to do with the privacy issues...

some have said din di na daw sila pero am amused to still see 'em there..though admittedly lesser na ang posts...

    ReplyDelete
  23. thanks Chelo...let's see if Multiply lasts that long for my next 888 *grin*

    ReplyDelete
  24. haha! thank you...you may send a congratulatory gift if you like *wink!*

  25. I heard otherwise from a couple of my friends that they have privacy issues with Multiply, not FB. My thinking is, once you get on the web, anybody can hack you so just be wary of what you post.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Very true indeed, Joey. What I'd like to see though in either FB or Multiply or any of the social networking platforms, is a way to not only prevent such intrusions but also to have the capability to trace the hacker/intruder. I realize that this may be very difficult. But in the realm of possibilities and technological developments, this is not impossible.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I totally agree with you Chito. This can be done with phone calls and text messaging so I think it is not impossible. I am sure there is a way.

    ReplyDelete
  28. touche....but come to think of it...even if you limit the access to people you know, unless a photograph cannot be copied or downloaded from that site, its always open to being scattered across the big wide world of the internet...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Like I said, be wary of what you post.

    ReplyDelete
  30. oh, no worries on my end...if I don't want it to be see the light of day, hanggang sa utak ko lang yan...not even in a diary...

    ReplyDelete
  31. "Like I said, be wary of what you post."

I was actually referring to people in general. Not just you. I know you won't do such a thing:-)
