Too engrossed in work, I only found out there was a fire opposite the street from where I was doing my phone conference tonight - through my mom who called me up to ask me how it was. I then imagined myself on the table with my back facing to the fire while I was setting up a meeting with people from all over the world. Tsk-tsk. No wonder I passed a security guard earlier running through GB park with a small fire extinguisher in his hand.

  2. ehehehe..they saw it on tv and they called me up...

funnily, I did see the security guard around 7 pm running from GB5 to GB3 with the fire extinguisher.
when I looked behind me (I was walking thru GB park with some groceries), I couldn't see any blaze from upwards and concluded that maybe it was a small fire, so I continued merrily on my way...

    funny world!

  3. ehehe! anyways, wala namang fire alarm dito sa building nag-ring kagabi...so alls well...

sangkatutak daw na firetrucks yata dumating to put out that little blaze in the resto...

another funny thing, on how I confirmed it...I received an email from our company's team (in charge of such notices and other info) saying ma-traffic daw dahil sa fire sa GB3...ayos..parang text alert

  4. What was that?! We saw a lot of fire trucks and traffic was rerouted between New World and GB3. We were having dinner at Lorenzo's Way last night and we were not aware that there was a threat of conflagration just meters away.

  6. Di naman nag spread ang fire?

How long did it take for the firefighters to have the fire under control?

  7. Maybe, that's why the security guard had a small fire extinguisher:-)

  8. I don't think the fire spread..I have the suspicion don lang siguro yun sa kusina pero na paranoid na mga tao don hehehe..e Ayala pa yan...amen if may fire sa mall nila tapos maubos lahat..what a scandal...

so I heard that a lot of firetrucks came rushing into the scene...

as for me, I only had that clue when I passed by the garden earlier...when I came out again from my 2nd to the last phone conference, to check the street...medyo back to normal na..
