basically tea is boiled in water....and the resulting concoction are usually drank during mornings here (good for throat)...
I just polished off the last of my Nuri sardines...

when I go back to Cebu, I plan to look for 'em and fill my maleta hehehe!

nainggit ako tuloy...every week I check Rustans or Landmark (kc meron syang stock usually)..pero parang lampas 6 months wala pa rin akong nakikita...grrrr...
i would rather have them than corned beef or spam for a dinner and salabat is a good choice for drinks..hala kain na tayo!! good to see you cath...kuya rom

oo naman at kadalasan ay sa pilipino store mo lang sila mabibili. Normally, i would prepare corned beef as ginisa sa sibuyas, bawang at kamatis (typical na sa mga pinoy lol) with elbow macaroni at konting tubig for sabaw tapos..ulam na sa kanin!! of course masarap din siyang palaman sa pandasal.

vegetable curry with elbow macaroni....
you need to cook elbow macaroni separately.boil them with water until they becomes slightly tender and set aside.. after ginisa sibuyas, kamatis , sibuyas, bawang at corned beef, mix the elbow macaroni and use the same broth for sabaw and add salt or aji-no-moto for your preference.

or corned beef hash, yung may diced tomatoes...hay..
diosme..parang na-te-tempt ako magluto bigla ng corned beef....ehehe...
i learned to cook it from my dad (RIP) when i was young and believed it or not me katerno pang tuyo!! ...at masarap siyang kainin kapag naulan. BTW, he was born and raised in Cavite city kaya i would say caviteño recipe siguto 'to. Have a good day Cat!! Kuya Rom

yes tuyo (dried salted fish) lol!! syempre it's a separate dish. mali yata ang spelling ko hehehe..anyways so much for that but let me know what the outcome kapag naluto mo na..hay Cat enjoy and have a good weekend!!
