No classes in those w/ signal 2-3-4..
ReplyDeleteNo classes in pre-school for those under Signal # 1
Super Typhoon MEGI (JUAN) has dipped more to the southwest...now endangers Isabela and Northern Aurora...whole of Luzon under serious threat...
*MEGI is comparable in strength to Super Typhoon ANGELA (ROSING) of November 2-3, 1995, which battered Bicol & Southern Luzon including Metro Manila...and is considered one of the worst typhoons in Philippine History.
let's pray for our kababayans up North to be safe...
ReplyDeleteLatest track here (hope you don't mind, Cat):
ReplyDeletewow, super typhoon...wag naman sana :(
ReplyDeletethanks cat and chito.
ReplyDeleteno problemo Chito...thanks!
ReplyDeletesuper typhoon na nga...cat 5 (no, di limang pusa yan ha)
ReplyDeletesobrang init naman dito sa tacloban >_< praying for everyone's safety....
ReplyDeleteseems more of our kababayans have learned a lesson last time...ayon..they moved already and have prepared..
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing Chito..
funny as when I visited Tacloban a couple of times, di ko narasanan super init...
ReplyDeletemakulimlim lang here in Makati..no rain..no wind..
My officemates in QC also report a similar observation, i.e. no rain, slight wind. Ganun din daw sa Makati CBD. That's good, actually. But it could worsen as it gets dark. Hopefully not.
ReplyDeleteAs of 1PM, satellite image is like this:
ReplyDeleteand track view is like this:
No wonder mainit sa Tacloban.
*cross fingers*
ReplyDeletesana wala na, I want to go to the office tmrw (hmm..baligtad yata)
State of Calamity na ang Isabela...
ReplyDeletePAGASA is describing this typhon ans "well-behaved" typhoon, i.e. it's following all that they have forecasted or predicted (so far), or behaving the way it is expected.
ReplyDeleteThat means tomorrow we will have an OK weather here in Manila.
weather is fickle though (ok, like women)..I hope this well-behaved behaviour continues..for the sake of our economy and countrymen..
ReplyDelete100% no electricuty in baguio
ReplyDeletehere, its starting to rain more...earlier it was just the usual, not even that windy..
ReplyDeletegood to hear this! my kids are flying back to Canada on Wednesday, this is a relief. :)
ReplyDeleteKawawa naman sila. Swerte na lang naka-uwi na yung anak ko. He was there over the weekend with his classmates (entire class, i.e. it was a school work related trip).
ReplyDeleteMetro Manila is still under Storm Signal #1. Typhoon "JUAN" has weakened after crossing the Sierra Madre Mountain.
ReplyDeleteAs of 1:00 a.m., today (Tuesday, 19 October 2010), Typhoon "JUAN" was located at 140 kms West Northwest of Baguio City (17.1°N, 119.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 195 kph.
THANK GOD paalis na sa atin ang bagyo!! Ingat ka lang Cat at laging paghandaan ang lahat. Kuya Rom
ReplyDeleteThanks for this typhoon report. Good thing Juan is leaving. I hope not so many got injured.
ReplyDeletethanks Kuya Rom...to the next storm ulit (a couple more pa siguro dahil these months to November may parating pa yata)
ReplyDeletehi Jack,
ReplyDeleteits better than Ondoy (in fact, parang anything else was better than sa Ondoy)...
10 lang kanina nadinig ko na namatay...
Juan is headed right for HK. Anybody knows anyone there?
ReplyDeleteoh yes..classmate ko sa college..naku...pero sanay na rin yon...
ReplyDeleteon another note, paano pa...6 more storms pa daw papunta or daan sa Pilipinas...
