I don't think I would look good in one.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
hmm.....now that you've said it John....hmm...maybe you are right, but have you tried donning on one and looking at yourself in the mirror?
ReplyDeleteNot even considered it, anyhow I'd probably have difficulty in finding one to fit.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
ah yes, you are a bit tall...they might have to look for extensions...*wink*
ReplyDeleteah..but aren't those for guys version a bit longer?
ReplyDeleteI remember the yukatas and haori I had from the ryokan...they had actually large and medium sizes
I have seen several men that were taller than the average dressed for Shinto Weddings in male Kimonos but none as tall as me. As it happens one of Riesans girlfriends is even taller, she was tall enough fo me to kiss her in comfort which incidentally did not go down to well with Rie.
ReplyDeleteSee PM - Tokyo and Up.
LOL...just read the PM....maybe Rie-san felt you were taken advantage of *wink, wink*
ReplyDeleteActually she admitted to silly jealousy on her part.
ReplyDeletehahaha....I guess girls will be girls *wink*
