  9. Hi Cat. Make sure to bring a few ready to take medicine such as paracetamol for fever and headache, something for LBM, anti-histamine (for allergies), Bonamine (para sa hilo), Katinko for insect/mosquito bites and against dizziness. If you need to take liquid, take soda (e.g. coke) or bottled water. Befriend another tourist (Caucasian female if possible) at baka may nga tips about food, shopping, food, forex, etc. If you will go out alone try to appear as if you are part of a tour group. Get the contact number of the Philippine consulate or embassy and if possible make it a part of the areas you visit.

If you don't have travel insurance, it may be a good idea to have one. Try Blue Cross (www.bluecross.com.ph).

Stay healthy and stay safe. Hope you can join Che and me sa medical mission.

  10. hi Chito...wow, ayan ang gusto ko sa yo..parang may checklist na rin ako...

teka, bakit Bonamine para sa hilo? I've never tried having that in my arsenal of meds I take in trips na naka eroplano ako....

lam mo ba ay allergic na ako sa travel insurance? the first and last time I did that (for my trip to Japan), yon....nahulog ako sa escalator...hehehe..beats out all the times I've travelled abroad for personal trips na wala akong travel insurance...

thanks heaps for the info on the Phil Consulate in shanghai, yan ang isa pang di ko pala na lista...

yep, am crossing fingers that I will be back in hale and hearty form from Shanghai and makasama sa med mission :-)

PM ako sa yo later kung pano pala, kc if sa train e kailangan ko instructions on how to get there from here....

thanks ulit *and balik ako to hunt for yuan*
