one of my former schoolmates does teach English there pero iba to, Website..patinging nga..
ReplyDeletecheaper kc...
ReplyDeletehmm...baka nga mag learn ako ng German..mas madali yata kc parang based ang English on it for lots of words :-)
you know, I remember during the visit to Chito's house to see Jack..
ReplyDeleteChito mentioned that Ida was teaching Japanese :-)
baka kako pwede kami hehehe...I mean he said we don't even have to be very knowledgeable in Japanese (e ako hanggang self-study nga lang ng Nihonggo nag-survive sa Japan)
Yes, Ida does something like that. But she teaches English to Japanese students (of all ages and all professions). Most of her students already know English basics. What she does is strengthen/supplement their knowledge specially their verbal and vocabulary skills. So, while she does speak un poco hapones, it's neither a hindrance nor a problem. The real challenge is sustaining ones interest in the conversations.
ReplyDeleteah..pwede kami mag kwento about anime!
ReplyDeleteuse Babbel.com, they have a simple way to teach..am on Italian and review of German there..mura lang siya..
ReplyDeleteYes, you may. But it's the client/student's call. The other challenge is the teacher's or tutors range of knowledge or familiarity with practically any topic in the world! Because the range of clients can be housewives to math professors or an excited teenager to a shy vegetable farmer.
ReplyDeletepwede kami kwento about food! who doesn't want to talk about food?!
ReplyDelete(ahahaha...as if am in my own world ano) dapat nito group effort kami ni Pearl and Che ...pasa sa iba at may ang interest is in their fields of hobby or interests din..
Of course you can. The only taboo or prohibited topics are those that deal with personal circumstances, e.g. family matters, personal finance, and the like.
ReplyDeletethat sounds reasonable naman....that kind of makes me think about those stories of grannies on flights striking up a conversation with people and then pulling out their wallets with a string of baby pictures :-)
ReplyDeleteI may be paranoid siguro but I cant help thinking e baka ma-type-pan pa ng sinong tumitingin ng pictures at kidnapin yung bata (if baby pa rin) ....just too many crime stories these days
This goes not only for babies but for personal items at home or the home itself, i.e. anyone who has access to info on these (either via casual conversation or VIA POSTS AT SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES), can take advantage of such info/knowledge. Kaya nga ingatan dapat ang privacy or access filters sa mga posts.
ReplyDeleteyeah, gone are those days when you can strike up a good conversation with a total stranger...
ReplyDeletehonestly, it would be nice to be friendly pero these days in this kind of world we live in, even the people you know for years and years can commit a crime against you..
so better be safe than sorry.
while it may start like access everyone, if may importanteng private na pinagusapan, dapat i-change na ang access level..
thanks for the tip Nona...
ReplyDeletebaka nga one of these days I will give in to my mad urge to learn Latin...
