Childhood breakfasts which I consumed before rushing off to school always seemed to bring up images of toasted bread and spreads....or Farina or Quaker Oats.
My dad preferred Farina, while I though oatmeal was more filling. I used to tease him eating Farina was for folks who had no teeth.
But now I find myself nostalgic. And lately I've gone to eating Cerelac...LOL
Hi Cat, I never ate Farina. The only warm cereal which I tried was Wheatena. But I prefer cold cereals, such as Kashi. The latter comes in various kimds. The one I opened recently was oat flakes and blueberry clusters. Not bad. Your picture looks very nice.
I've not tried or heard of Wheatena...maybe someday.
I also eat oat flakes and cold cereals...haha...last one I ate was banana and maple flavored ones... the blueberry mix I had before I could not find anymore...maybe out of stock...
oh Cerelac is a brand name of brand of instant cereal made by Nestlé.
I don't think its available in the US. It is currently sold in Belgium, Portugal, India, South Africa, Philippines and the Middle East acc to the internet :-) The cereal is promoted for infants 6 months and older as a supplement to breast milk when it is no longer the sole item in an infant's diet.
