Hope by now you were successful in moving some of your Multiply Stuff?
1) download media,
2) export to Blogger,
and 3) export to Tumblr.
Let me know if there should be things I should watch out for since I've been getting errors in my Import.
Hi Cat. All I've done so far is to download zipped photo albums from a friends page as he is not a "P" user. I also tried a couple of other things to help Meg (Barefootmeg) from Multipy who is trying to help or get help for other non P members. None worked. Jeff (Sarcastic) came with a few other things to try but they failed too. My own stuff can go with the wind when it blows as I have always kept things here and backed them up. I've been busy otherwise with creating new pps files and uploading to Ipernity, currently I have 1034 things uploaded. lol Have a nice day. :-))
but don't these work even if they aren't Premium users? I've only tried the Import to Blogger option..
yesterday, I had trouble with Importing the file into Blogger, so after the 4th try, I slept. woke up and tried just Importing Recipes. it worked.
but since I didn't want to try it one by one, I thought maybe just maybe, since I've populated my current blogger site already with some cut/paste blogs since last month, thats why it wouldn't work.
Currently experimenting by making another blog site in blogger :-)
According to what I've read among the many complaints it seems non "P" users really lose out. I have not attempted to move anything to Blogger or the other place. The Media Download tell me I must install either Chrome or Firefox which I do not wish to do. FF messed up my reserve PC's Browser, and I don't trust Google Chrome. I hope what you've moved is in order.
I moved some albums to WordPress without any problem. It is a problem of time, what I need really is an external hard-drive to so I can download the whole thing. Did multiply give any instructions yet?
