  1. uhm...Sir B...(whispers) pwede hingi tip...?

pano yung event photography with portrait?

mahina lang flash ko no..gabi pa...medyo palpak yata ako sa night shots kc di kaya ng cam ko ah...

if mag flash din ako, parang ang puti ng mukha...if lahikan ko aperture with flash, parang sobra yata labas..waaah! I need to practice with this cam and shoot some people...

ma diffuse ko ba light with white paper?

ay naku, shooting was so much easier before, di ko na iisipin and click-clack lang ako..ngayon parang isip-isip pa...argh!

  3. just to force myself to be more consistent, I joined Shutters Club here at our company....they have a May challenge - one that focuses on nature - aka taking pictures of animals...

now it so happens that I have a picture of two amusing turtles perched on top of a third stone turtle...am not expecting prizes but thought it would be a quirky addition...posted it to my flickr account, no photo editing or cropping done since I had not done a background blur but as always took a quick snapshot, not wanting to miss the moment (you never know, baka tatakbo ang turtle...)

  5. di ko rin alam...wala namang makikita sa taas...

question: would it have been better if I had cropped it? taking out the ledge of the pond and just concentrating on the three turtles?

ang sabi kc nila, better to take out distractions in a picture, and to let it tell a story, but I liked the reflection on the water and showing the setting of where this happened...(hmm..other people may argue e shempre sa pond nangyari, san pa nga ba)
