TUMI > Frequent Traveler Four Wheel > T-Tech Polycarbonate

http://intl.tumi.com/t-tech-polycarbonate/frequent-traveler-four-wheel/
all I want for Christmas....

its my weakness I admit...and I already have a light 4 wheel, but its in silver and easily scratched as it was the first generation...while this one is red and diamond-pattern already so its so much better...

*sigh* can I just drool....unless I win the lottery (first I have to buy a ticket) I am just going to have to look at this longingly...

  6. ahaha! funnily enough my 2 Tumi bags survived the encounter...though there were scratches on my polycarbonate one...

hmm..maybe they should design a smart luggage...gives electric shock to people who are not its owners but who handle it roughly *wink*

  8. unbelievably very light..I can stuff a lot and not worry too much about excess baggage which used to be because my bags were already heavy enough without the contents...

for my polycarbonate one, I scrimped on one thing...the bag to fit over the bag was a bit expensive..so I went home to Cebu and got somebody to sew me a bag to put over my bag...hahaha! it gets looks from people when I check it in or get it from the carousel because its made out of cloth and velcro *grin*...good thing its not orange-colored

  17. this is the first time I read about this background on this brand:

Tumi, Inc., a manufacturer of suitcases and bags for travel, is based in South Plainfield, New Jersey.

Founded in 1975 by Charlie Clifford after a stint in the Peace Corps in Peru, the company is named after a Peruvian ceremonial knife used for sacrifices

Tumi was, at one time, made entirely in the US and offered a lifetime warranty.

Since 2004, however, Tumi has moved production of items to China and stopped offering a lifetime warranty citing need to do so based on industry norms. *grrrrrr*
