Cebu Pacific Seat Sale: Japan and Korea travel Nov 2009

Normally, I just take Philippine Airlines (yes, loyalist hehehe!) but I do get news about Cebu Pacific promos and I'd like to share them here for the benefit of other friends and acquaintances who may be on the lookout for cheaper airfares.

No, I don't get any discounts from either Cebu Pacific or PAL or other airlines - I simply like sharing information for fellow travelers.

Found in my Inbox today, and in fact it was sent 8 hours ago from the time of this writing (how ..uhm..timely?)

Seats to Japan and Korea for as low as P2,499!

Fly to Japan and Korea with their seat sale for as low as P2,499. The seat sale starts now until November 8, 2009, for travel beginning January 15 to March 15, 2010.

Avail of the P2,499 ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare to Manila-Incheon, Cebu-Incheon and Cebu-Busan flights, this is 35% lower than the lowest year-round fare of P3,899! Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

Cebu Pacific flies daily from Manila and Cebu to Incheon, and twice weekly from Cebu to Busan.

Manila to Osaka bound passengers can avail of 52% discount off the lowest year-round fare of P5,499, with our seat sale fare of P2,599. They fly every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday to Osaka.

    yes, am wondering too if its a typo..or do they just send email notifications this late..and good for only a couple of hours...or maybe this is EST and not Singapore time?

    hi cat---were you able to book a flight?sorry, di ako naka reply kaagad besides kahit mura di ako maka oo hehehhe.i am waiting from my sister's advice when is the best time to visit them in japan saka si loo din di rin pede because his mom is terminally ill of cancer.sabi nya sakin it maybe be very quick.she was given a year to leave but it may be anytime as per the doc.im planning to visit him on jan.yung hot ait balloon nga di sya sure kung makakpunta.depende lagi sa lagay ng mom nya.

    hi Che,

    no I didn't book..I do not usually buy Cebu Pacific Air these days...I think nakwento ko na yata yung two times I've tried it which were bad trips...at parang sabi ko...ano ba yan, baka third time, lulubog na ako sa dagat...ehehehe :-)

    also, I am not sure if its a typo..bakit parang 1 day sale lang...till Nov 8...e nakita ko sa Inbox ko pinadala Nov 8..:-) e ...di...its finished! ano_ba_yan?

    can't go also leave on the Jan-March months...planning ako for Australia and Oma Lucy..e have to pile up my available days na nag-forced deductions na...*sigh*

    best time sa Japan will be in cherry blossom time and autumn-time...unless gusto mo mag snow/winter in Hokkaido..

    as for Loo, nag txt back nga sya sa akin about his mom, ang bilis ng happenings nga eh...but I pray that she will not be in too much pain..and secondly I'm still hoping may mangyayari pa rin in the meantime...

    alam mo di ba ang connecting flight namin from Hongkong to Manila is Cebu Pacific..we've paid, but until now hindi pa napapadala ang online ticket namin...hmmm...I hope na ang international service is better..

    is that true na 15 kilos check in and 7 kilos hand carry..this international ha..

    hi Nona,

    maybe you can send them an email..or wala ba silang toll free number for international callers?

    I am not sure about the 15 kilos check-in..para naman domestic yan na baggage limit ah..di international..unless of course its a promo fare (I mean, I did get on a PAl flight na limited din ang baggage allowance kc...that was from Manila to Bangkok). If you check in as a group, maybe that will help para isang tambak na baggage?

    weird though coz supposedly international has bigger baggage allowance...

    pero kc they are cheaper than other airlines, kaya siguro ganon ang stipulation :-)

    You fly from Cebu, you land in the Pacific. That's why it's called Cebu Pacific (hehehe... couldn't help it Cat.)

    I've asked Che before about these cheaper-airfare airlines...Zest Air etc.

    I noticed a pattern when she answers - this and that plane is used for this or that trip...I get the impression that since its a bigger plane being used, mas ok :-)

    sabagay, that is not the whole picture naman..you can have Concordes ferrying you back and forth but the maintenance sucks or the pilots are blind as bats...(which actually is not correct, but I digress..) so dedbol pa rin if ever something bad happens ...hehehe...

    I don't think I've reassured Kryzzie...ehem...
