    and since I suddenly remember piggy banks...can anyone remember if they've come across those Buddha money banks wherein there's not a bunch of children scrambling across his fat tummy? am being sentimental...since our old Chinese buddha (w/ little kids) got broken...

    I remember that. My mom used to have one... san na kaya yun? Hot choco would be good up here too. Ginaw e. hehe..

    I remember my mom reporting that Baguio was experiencing 20 and maybe below?

    here in Cebu, where its usually hot, even during rainy days...maginaw din...brrr..so I can imagine how it must be up there...

    We have a friend here who gives us raw chocolates from Dumaguete and Bohol to make hot chocolate drink and they are so so so good. I also love the Antonio Pueo brand.

    btw, the Pueo word in Hawaiian is Owl.

    I've tried Antonio Pueo brand here...so Antonio Owl pala yan?

    but maybe its my memories - they can't measure up to the native tablia from the towns :-)
