Tinoktok na ano? Baboy? Palaka? Hipon?
ReplyDeleteAno ang tinoktok? Let's see some pictures.
ReplyDeleteisda at saka shrimps yata :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think it was pork (basing on the taste I had)
eh? may frog tinoktok?
oh, I ate it already...so from the internet lang...
ReplyDeleteby the way BNK,
ReplyDeleteI found a recipe (am good for eating this, not cooking) *grin*
http://irigacity.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cuisine&action=display&thread=21
Che introduced this to me when one time we were both wandering around the SM Mall of Asia (sa Roxas Blvd)...I really liked the minced stuff inside the gabi leaves...
so ang bitnitbit ko ngayon is the tinuktok lang from Legaspi City...I wasn't sure how long it would last, so bumili lang ako ng half a dozen...
Some local restos serving native food you can find this though not as good as I can imagine the original. Maybe at Salcedo market, they have this.
ReplyDeletehmm....good idea Doc Philip! maghahanap nga ako the next time I pass by the weekend market..
ReplyDeletepero baka naman pinangat...sana may nagbebenta nga dito...I had my fill of laing, pinangat and tinuktok while in Legaspi...and fresh fish while in Sorsogon *burp*
kamayan na!
ReplyDeletefinger-lickin' good ika nga!
ReplyDeleteKinakain din ba yung gabi leaf or yung minced stuff inside lang ang kinakain? Spicy hot ba like some Bicol dishes?
ReplyDeleteyep, you eat everything..fuera lang yung pangtali to keep it together :-)
ReplyDeleteyou can order it as spicy or non-spicy
What's the white stuff on top?
ReplyDeletebaka gata...am not sure...
