I still like the way blood spurts in Japanese samurai films though :-) but I appreciate its splashes here ....
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Kill Bill (with Uma Thurman).
ReplyDeleteexactly what I was thinking of!
ReplyDeletedito masyadong straight and clean...gusto ko yung arterial spurts...mwahahaha!
ah...eh....hmm...its not Halloween..wrong holiday...
Then you must also like "The Ninja Assassin," starring that Korean heart-throb Rain.
ReplyDeleteah..I didn't see that...
ReplyDeleteam more for yung Jap-made ones pag ganon...
but is it good? if yes, I might try to get a dvd of it...
Rain plays the character of a "retired" ninja (Hapon siya siempre, kahit Koreano sya in real life). It's your kind of movie. I'm sure of that.
ReplyDeletebut is the story good? visual effects and stunts are a dime a dozen...unless the movie is recommended lang for watching a movie for mindless fun :-)
ReplyDeletekung para syang Kill Bill, then I'd like it...
Hush, Cat, hush!
ReplyDeleteThe story is good and the cinematography better. I remember I wrote a review of The Ninja Assassin sometime ago.
ReplyDeleteMommy Loy..its the year of the dragon...not the year of the fluffy white rabbit so best to prepare and go into it with eyes wide......half-mast
ReplyDeletehmm...parang familiar nga...but then di naman kc ako fan ni Rain...(what is it with people and using all these nouns as names for guys...it sounds girlie)
ReplyDeleteSorry, wala ako masabi, not into that kind of movies.
ReplyDeletesayang BNK...I like Kate Beckinsale :-)
