Sec. Robredo's body surfaced around 8:30 am.
ReplyDeleteIts what was at the back of some of our minds. But as sad as this may be, in some ways it may be a little shot of relief to his family who have been waiting.
At least na recover na ang body kesa wondering and thinking and not being able to put it to rest :-(
Indeed, it bring closure to the issue of Jessie's tragic death in a plane crash. But personally, I feel that it is the day that the torch of good governance which Jessie had staunchly advocated when he was still alive, has been passed on. Let not his death be for naught. Let the flowers of good governance bloom on his grave.
ReplyDeletesana, with his death nga, mas ma-inspire ang mga tao to continue on the path he had tried to blaze...
ReplyDeleteThis is so heart breaking. I've been crying the whole morning. Such a waste. I cry for his family and for us, for the country.
ReplyDeletethat kept reverberating in my brain...that it was such a waste...
ReplyDeleteand I was just thinking if they weren't knocked unconscious upon impact or if they had injuries na life-threatening but were only able to wake up, I think they would have been alive until now...
I wrote this in my Twitter account earlier: " Let's keep on demanding good governance specially from LGUs! That's one way to honor Jessie Robredo and keep his memory alive."
ReplyDeleteAs I also said earlier in one of my posts (or sa email ko yata sa group ko), Aug. 21 shall henceforth be remembered as a day the Filipino lost two good men.
ReplyDeletemaybe with his death, ma-inspired na tong mga public officials, who instead of being exemplary public officials who serve the people...., e they serve a headache tuloy sa mga tao..
ReplyDeletelook how a a well-loved public official can affect people!
and how people mourn the passing of a good man who in his short life on Earth, has set a good example.
...sa mga buaya dyan...when your time comes, unless siguro paid mourners e walang magsasabing they were sad in your passing...hmph.. .(ah sorry, just wanted to vent a little)...
anyway, basta...am drinking here to cheers for Sec. Robredo! Cheers because of the life you had lead. I am sad, but then I am also happy. I guess other people can understand how I am feeling.
