  11. true, but sometimes its challenging trying to get different conversations going and not get lost, as well as respond quickly enough they think its just them you are talking to...

I don't know...kinda like knowing how far you can go in multi-tasking :-)

  12. Multi-tasking = Doing many things poorly at the same time.

  13. gotta dmit, that happens when one tries to juggle so many plates at the same time...

lucky chatting is not that "breakable"...*wink*

  14. now, I recall hearing somewhere as to why women were better at multi-tasking than men...can't recall where..but yes, again, something to do with our ancestors - men out hunting, women left at the cave to tend to the..well..home..

  15. I think I will rest my fingers...:-)

  16. iba multi-tasking; ikaw multi-chatting.

  17. hurray! na-tempt back mo na ba to Multiply ang mga prodigals? :-)

  18. what I don't like sa Multiply chat, it says with whom one is talking, it's not that I'm having to hide something, but it's still a private thing with whom someone is talking right?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Nonz, you've lost me...you mean you see who is talking with whom?

    ReplyDelete
  20. as a P.S. you cannot see that I think, neither in YM or in Meebo (the one used in Multiply)...

  21. yes, definitely that..there was a particular sign..I will clear this from the staff..:)

  22. Yes, Cat. Men are naturally one-track minded because of their ancient role of hunter-gatherer. They have to be concentrated on their prey or on foraging for certain plant food. The women are natural multi-taskers because of their ancient role of homemaker (hehe, cavemaker?) wherein they have to keep watch over and feed many children while doing the cooking, cleaning up (hehe, cleaning up a cave!), maybe even making the clothes of animal hide or fur.

I am not a very good multi-tasker. Perhaps I was a hunter caveman in a previous life. LOL!

  23. I didn't know that. I thought we only see with whom we are talking. Sige nga Cat, paki-check (hehe, nag-utos pa eh).

Ako naman, I like the idea of having a sort of open mike discussion. Just like what happens with us Kayumanguitos who converse in our blog posts. My kids found it funny that we conversed in Multiply. Mag-YM na lang daw tayo. But now, meron nang chat ang Multiply. But still it is not same as talking among ourselves in the blogs, hehe.

  24. baka mas prevalent sa you Ms G yung gene for being quite focused...

eh? so if Sir B is a multi-tasker, baka cavemaker(?) sya in his past life? ahahaha...natawa ako...pero oops..baka magalit si Sir B, may axe pa sa kamay....

  25. Ms G (and if Nona will pardon my saying so without checking with the Multiply support staff),

I don't think this happens. For one, its Meebo that is being used for the connection to chat.

Meebo is what I used before when I couldn't use YM to chat coz blocked.

I recall it is simple (and still is) and also recall my complaints before on how it did not allow conference chat - hence I can't see why they would have a feature to let people see with whom I am chatting or na makita sa ibang tao ang mga chat messages ko when they don't have the former feature.

This is probably the case if one is a "conference" chat but still only within the group who is having that "conference".

My theory is maybe somebody changed the his/her status and said something to that effect so baka misleading :-)

Nakakatuwa nga eh..I just changed "Invisible to Everyone" yung status ko (as in literal), unlike YM wherein if you set it, you really appear offline...tapos ang daming nakipagchat sa akin to say nakikita pa rin nila ako when invisible daw ako eh...*grin*

  26. I use YM if bilisan ang usapan..and I need to get some info or thing done immediately..

but for sharing stuff and having an erudite discussion (or something totally off-track and out of this world hehehe!), this kind of thing is the best fit for me ....hehehe!

nakikita evidence kc of how weird or evolved the discussion has become and people have a chance to join and air their views and for people to react in their own time...

  27. Hehehe....Oo nga. Boboy is a master multi-tasker. He always has several projects in the burner at any one time. Tapos may energy pa yan para kulitin ang bahay. Haaay. =)

  28. blame na lang po natin sa Zodiac sign...tsk-tsk..Gemini kasi eh...

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ano, parang dalawang tao? Yaiks!! =)

    ReplyDelete
  30. hmm.imagine if Gemini tapos babae pa...double multi-tasker? :-)

    ReplyDelete
  31. talaga? I've always found Gemini peeps very amiable and I haven't seen one na sinumpong...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hindi lang halata ang sumpong nila, Cat. ^_^

    ReplyDelete
  33. hmm..very interesting..hehehe...

at least if sinumpong man, di halata..ang hirap if sinumbong tapos nagmamaktol all over the place!

    ReplyDelete
  34. very correct..kasi nga we're two, may parang conscious controller..but what I mean, pag sinumpong lalo sa multitasking parang Superwoman..someone told me that once, mga 10 years ago, mas bata pa ako..hehehe..hindi lang daw niya masabi, na parang Superwoman ako..:)
