An unexpected bad attack of a bum stomach made me afraid of missing an important trip to historic churches in Southern towns of Cebu, but in the end my will prevailed :-)

  4. that morning, I had to miss bringing them to Mommy Loy's house...

and so I missed too the native breakfast at Mommy Loy's house due to my trying desperately everything I could take which would fix my stomach...

finally after some Imodium, Yakult, over-toasted toast and hard-boiled egg...and more visits to the loo..I then I dashed to their to their house holding my tummy, squeezed into the vehicle with Sir B, Ms. G, her sister Gina, Mommy Loy and Tito Rudy...

I really had a very interesting time seeing and hearing (and finding out secrets) of the chosen churches (from Spanish-times) of these Southern towns...

although I wasn't able to eat the lechon and chicharon that first day..and had a fever that night, I was able to recover the following morning and ate a lot of the offerings at Balay na Tisa in Carcar, Cebu...

    pics later ...tootles!

thank you for your kind wishes! mwaah!

  7. Ok, to sum your overall stomach upset...let me guess! hehe...it's gonna be at least one might come out or none of the mentioned...(^_^)...here e go!...were you in abdominal pain or colic pain, both due to smooth muscle spasms, were you nauseated or actually vomited, with cold clammy persperation, weak, went to the bathroom few times & took some antidiarrheal meds & double-up in bed?...if there is a will, there's always a way!!!...now, you're still feeling weak & not up to par...you must have an infection, since you had a temp or you were dehydrated from diarrhea or vomting or both...so how did i do???...hehehe...

This is beside my guessing game...i really do hope you're now feeling much better & out of the woods...if you're dehydrated, try to drink more liguids as much as you can, but don't do it at one time...take it 'lil by 'lil, as your GIT system might still in shock...if you continue to fell bad, you mght have encountered an infectious agent...get a medical assistance ASAP...praying for your speedy recovery...hugs & meawwwwwww (^_^)

  8. whoa Angie..where were you when I needed you that morning? :-)

I was supposed to pick Sir B up around 8;30 am..but as I went out the gate, I had this sudden pain in my stomach and a you-know-you-gotta-go-back feeling at the you-know-where *wink*

anyway, I have a suspicion it was what we call "panuhot" here (something like having "air" in your body)...I suspect it was because of a mixture of things happening ..but mostly triggered by my waking up very early, drinking 2 glasses of water with a multi-vitamin pill on an already growling stomach, then trying to cool my sweating by standing in front of an electric fan at full blast *blush*

  14. Ngayon ko lang naisip Cat. Hindi kaya pinasa mo lang ang sakit mo through some voodoo spells - called on the hovering spirits around the old houses and churches - kanya when you got better somebody else took over your ailment? Hmmm.

  15. nakup...grabe naman pala ang ailment ko...kayong dalawa ni Gina apektado..hahaha...

seriously though, I think na-agrabyar lang sa inyo kc nga you flew in na medyo may sama na pakiramdam na..tapos nag paulan pa at lumakad sa Sinulog...tapos on Grand Parade day, ayon, nag paparazzi ka pa..then you ate a lot of good but medyo oily stuff..na on a good day kailangan mag work hard ang system nyo to take it in..di pa naka-rest dahil sa walang tulog don dahil sa imagination nyo...ayos...nag-vacation din ang katawan...

    *hides vodoo dolls*

  16. Take those voodoo dolls out, Cat. May ipapa-voodoo yata sayo si Choie.

  19. oh, I see...nadaanan ko na pala tong post nya na link mo..akala ko may bagong batch na naman...

thanks for the reminder though...I guess with a strong woman like Choie, my impression is that something like what she is going through is one thing that I feel the Lord gives her coz he knows she will always pull through it :-)
