  8. well, I didn't actually say "I won't vote"...

and besides.. its a holiday! yehey.....no work...

therefore I'd rather spend it Cebu with my family and friends :-)

after all, people go to Cebu for a holiday..e ako pa na don nag-originate..shempre its always a treat to be in my hometown, even if elections are not my most favorite activity...

  20. Was it because of a job that you moved to Manila in the first place, Cat? If so, would you move back to Cebu if you can have the same job there?

  21. hi Peachy Mommy!

This second move of mine to Manila in 2004 was because of the business-school studies I had at AIM. After graduation it was really apparent that jobs I was looking for to complement whatever skills I added to my portfolio were not available in Cebu.

If it would be the same job, most assuredly I'd move back to Cebu, after all the job I have just requires a working computer, phone and DSL connection.

And certainly I could save more if I were in Cebu, most of my salary gets eaten up by rent, utilities and food here....think of all the places I could vacation if I were to stay in Cebu (walang bayad kay pader dear kc if I stay with my parents hehehe)

funny thing..when I was younger I said - if I were to choose between Cebu and Manila, I'd choose Cebu.; if I were to choose between Manila and working abroad, I'd choose abroad; if I were to choose between Cebu and working abroad, it was a toss-up..but look at me now :-(
