40 Carats Croquettes

Although I told my mom I would rather celebrate a 40-carat life by just eating out and resting at home, she apparently didn't heed my words and surprised me with a bunch of her delicious croquettes when I woke up.

The funny thing, was after all the rolling and mixing and frying she did, although she did not do it deliberately, the total number of croquettes she made was 40!

Wow!
How serendipitous?!

Somewhere on this page, is a picture of the first plate of crispy croquettes she placed in front of me while I was chatting with some friends.

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
And made with a whole lot of love.

    haha!

    that is what I told her, telling her she was pulling my leg and that she counted them out to beforehand make sure they reached 40....but she insisted hindi nga daw..and that inantok na nga sya while rolling the potato and meat mixture...

    sabagay its one of the things she can do with her eyes closed....malay if subconsciously that is what happened...

    Happy birthday dear Cat! Honest, ngayon lang ako naka lapit sa computer. I was in the Cardinal's residence the whole morning (last of the interviews for the bio). Then I had to attend to Diego's bank account most of the afternoon. Then the new girl in the store panicked with some orders - I had to stay with her till 7:30!

    hello Mommy Loy!

    hahaha...looks like you were more busy than I was during my birthday!

    I had to attend to some emails and some Multiplying, then noble chauffeur (dakilang tsuper) sa parenthood, finally had my late lunch at 5 pm...did some groceries and other stuff after driving them around...then fell asleep...

    I even forgot to go out and take a pic of the rare blue moon...
