the brand new one has a 1 year warranty and of course the usual 1 GB SD card.
ReplyDeletebut my old Kodak which I use for panoramic shots has been with me through a lot of trips and was my first ever camera I bought in the US some time ago..
go for the practical logic...my 2 cents.
ReplyDeletesave for a Panasonic Lumix LX3, P20K+ here but in singapore its less, i got mine last August for 19K, +8gb SD card...its great, only downside is not enough zoom....they even came out with a new model just this month, cheaper $400, with up to 300mm zoom!
ReplyDeletecheck this out http://www.dpreview.com
Are you a dreamer or a worker? Are you living or existing?
ReplyDeleteoh yes, I've been hearing good things about the LX3 (si Joeyfab4 ang unang nag recommend sa akin and we had a longer chat on it too, he also sent me to that link for reviews on cams *grin*)..
ReplyDeletekaso e 29K Php kc last time I checked
...am trying to wait it out that it will go down to 20K PHP para di naman ako himatayin sa gastos...
the answers are:
ReplyDelete"both" to the first question
and "both" to the second question
yeah..am 51% leaning towards that..hehehe...
ReplyDeleteOk then. You can keep your old camera and buy the new one. That way, you can keep your sense of sentimentality intact and enjoy the advantages of modernity at the same time.
ReplyDeleteif you know someone in Singapore,or going there, its at Alan's Photo Shop, Funan IT Mall, its less than P20K + 8gb SD card.
ReplyDeleteyes, that would be ideal..
ReplyDeletepautang muna ng pambili ng new camera...
yes, that would be ideal..
ReplyDeletepautang muna ng pambili ng new camera...
now thats an idea..sayang umuwi na si Helene...
ReplyDeletehmmm .... INIMINIMYNIMO na lang kaya CatH ??
ReplyDeletetranslate to English please Kuya Nel :-)
ReplyDeleteay, gets ko na...
ReplyDeleteI had to pronounce it out loud..hahaha! hina ng pick-up..
at para sa FB friend ko who said, picture-ran ko na lang daw ang lumang camera i-trade in with the new camera..very good idea! *grin*
ReplyDelete"save for a Panasonic Lumix LX3,"
ReplyDeleteSee, Cat. Dalawa na kaming nag recommend sa yo ng LX3.
Kaya, ayan sabi ni Philip kontakin mo na daw si Helene. Nasa advertising and marketing business yata siya sa Singapore. Baka maka discount pa siya para sa yo. Then have Loo (007) bring it with him to Pinas when he visits Che or Che can bring it with her when she returns from Spore. What say you?
Ooops, medyo nahuli ako. Kay Loo na lang. Ask Che.
ReplyDeletehi Joey..
ReplyDeletehonga eh..everytime may sale dito, I have been always keeping an eye on it, hoping for the best na mag down sya from 29K to mga 20K...e wala talaga...isip ko pa sana with a new one of it coming out..mag down..e hanggang 26K lang e...grrr........
actually di na rin talaga pwede..coz Helene came here on the last week of March...I had no idea she was coming over...and I was traveling to Cebu na on that weekend..
ReplyDeleteanyways, so far my waterproof GE naman while in Bantayan..so medyo naka document naman ng pics..though naubos battery sa daming pictures while fiddling with the controls..
Why don't you just stick with one or two cameras instead of several and carry an extra battery for your favorite one or both?
ReplyDeleteIn time siguro bababa pa ang presyo nyan.
ReplyDeletehahaha...thats what I do already except I have "favorites"
ReplyDeletefavorite pang panoramic
favorite pang waterproof
favorite na usual (nasira nga lang ang cover sa battery part) ng aking Fujifilm
I always carry usually two before - the Finepix and another point and shoot na mas maliit para discreet picture-taking
that reminds me..I have found one shop here in Cebu which may be able to fix the problem with my battery cover...I will know next week pa, just in time for me to leave for Manila..hahaha...
I had a nice chat with the owner/repair guy (he used to be from Kodak Phils here in Cebu City before they shut down)...actually got a tip that my Kodak now is better than the ones being offered for trade-in (even if new)...
Now, that's a keeper. Ingatan mo na lang ng mabuti.
ReplyDeleteMe too. I always carry two. My Canon DSLR and the D lux-4.
