eram naman nyan
ReplyDeleteok, come over to Cebu....am not bringing it to Manila :-)
ReplyDeletefor one its a bit heavy...and secondly, all the important books I have, I always bring to Cebu sooner or later for safekeeping hehehe...
It's that good huh!
ReplyDeleteWill have 2 copies to share with out-of-town friends.
hi Mar,
ReplyDeleteI'm bursting with pride on this...(as if I had a hand in it..hehehe...which wala naman)...I've been to some of these churches (my mom is from Sibonga and I've visited Carcar, Argao and some towns on the western side of Cebu island)...
I admit I am a teeny bit afraid that like some other historical buildings we have here in the Philippines, these churches dotting the island will not be maintained or preserved faithfully (their architecture and history is quite riveting) - and this book will at least serve as documentation for these treasures as well as stand as tangible proof of the efforts of many other dedicated people - also...to be holding something that a fellow Multiplier has had a hand in (oh, plugging na sa career ni Mommy Loy hehehe).....e nag bask na rin ako in the reflected glory...hahaha!
brochure of this book (from Mommy Loy's site) when it was announced for pre-selling
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you are, being from Cebu.
ReplyDeletePlus the fact that our dear friend Louella had a giant task to do in it.
ay sana uli...
ReplyDeletesana pala i gave you my payment for the book and sweetly bring it also in Manila....*hugs to Cat* pweety pwease????
get my book naman my dear, will pay you when you get back? or are you already back? huhuhu!!!!
I think she can carry the book for you, Meann.
ReplyDeleteCan she carry the books for me,too?
ReplyDeleteha ha ha ha ha kawawang Cat! all of 2 kilos each ang book!
ReplyDeletenakupo..8 kilos of books bitbitin ko pabalik Manila?
ReplyDeleteubos na ang space for check in bag ko na may laman na actually with all the other stuff that other people have asked me to bring...
hmm...di muna ako papakita dito sa Multiply....*tiptoes away....hehehe!*
ssssh! punta muna ako to FB...baboo!
nasa Manila na ako, huli na kayo lahat! bwahahaha!
ReplyDeleteBwahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteAy, sayang. Me kapalit pa namang sanang pasalubong yun.
ReplyDeletepara sa akin? he he he
ReplyDeletelet's see...I may have updates on this on the next few days *prays hard and keeps fingers crossed* and this may mean in the long run Chito's and Meann's books can be brought to Manila by somebody else...or ako if may kasama akong pauwi...
ReplyDeleteotherwise...its really only this book I have with me already which kaya kong bitbitin...sorry, but my 2 laptops already bring over me the limit for handcarried luggage :-)
*throws away rest of luggage already packed to make space for Chito's books*
ReplyDeletekidding lang...I will confirm later if its doable or if I have to decline...when I go back to Manila kc, its guaranteed puno na yung check-in bag ko (whereas if I leave for Cebu, its half-empty sometimes ang luggage hehehe)
Half-filled with danggit, tableya, Nuri sardines, queso de bola, lechon, bottled sisi, ginamos hipon, bihod, chicharon. . .
ReplyDeleteWow! Parang nabaliktad yata. Mukhang kami ang magkaka-pasalubong mula kay Cat!
ReplyDelete..unahin ko books ni Chito...kaya wala na yan lahat...hmmmm....
ReplyDeleteay no need ...yung librong binitbit ko ang pasalubong ko sayo...labor of love ang pagbitbit non ha..I will develop muscles after toting them all around...hahaha!
ReplyDeleteon a serious note...was waiting kc kanina if Sir B can come to cebu this January..oh ayan...if matuloy sila...we can wheedle them to bring the books kc mas may space sila...
There goes the chicharon (among others) from Carcar, Lechon from Cebu (is it the head or the pig's entire shoulder, hehe), sardines, etc.
ReplyDeleteCat, are you really going to leave them and come home to Manila without these yummies?!
+
Bottled sisi! That too?!
Mar :-)
ReplyDeleteyou're making me waffle from one end to another on the 2 choices..
2 bring or not 2 bring...that is the question...*wink*
i have mine too!!!! a definite treasure on my shelf=)
ReplyDeletehence maraming orders sa akin sana na bitbitin sa Manila :-) but my luggage is already full...of food..I mean stuff..haha!
