Bummer! My green Baguio broom which I checked in last Sunday in my flight back to Cebu has been misplaced by PAL and is still missing till now. This is the news which greeted me upon waking up. Grrrr.

  2. check with PAL's inflight service or house keeping...sa tingin ko ginagamit na....couldn't you handcarry it?

  3. honga eh...di pa ako delayed (my flight was pushed through to around 1.5 hours later)....at pinabayad pa ako ng excess baggage..

  4. hmmm..it does look as if someone took an interest in it and took it for his/her own....

PAL forbade me to handcarry it...

akala siguro I would be tempted to take out the broom from the overhead luggage bin and brain the people the around me while flying home :-)

  5. nakaka bwisit talaga when people are so shallow...why can't they be more practical & understanding...they could have kept it in their coat shelves...ang liit na bagay.

  6. and to think nagbayad pa ako ng excess baggage fee :-)

well, in fairness, it wasn't just because of the broom but the other stuff I brought with me from Sagada and Baguio..at medyo from 4.5 kilos pinabayad na lang ako ng 3 :-)

oh well, if they think I will not ask for recompense for that green broom, abah..I will show them the picture of me buying those brooms from the Baguio market!

  10. hahaha..I could list those expenses as saying that is what I would be spending if I were to get a replacement broom for the one they lost in their handling...

I think PAL would blow a wet raspberry at me...ergh...

  11. Just forget about it. Wala na yun!

  12. dehins pwede! huhuhu!

ang hirap dinanas ko sa pagkuha ng broom na yan..ay di mababayaran!

    may sentimental value yon!

  13. Wala na yun! Kalimutan mo na yun! Di mo na makukuha yung. Kinuha na ng iba yun.

    ReplyDelete
  14. pessimistic ka yata Tochie!

if kinuha ng iba..then...all I can do is.......

    make life hell for PAL!

ah..my endless sleepless nights of wondering what happened to it coupled with the psychological wound to my mental stability and emotional dependency on the broom has made me a raging homicidal woman out for revenge! mwahaha!

    *takes out voodoo doll*

  15. Why go through all these trouble? Wala na yun. Na-dekwat na yun. Move on! If you keep on like that, it could be the start of a real case of OCness.

  16. Realistic lang ako. Losing a green broom from Sagada in a PAL flight from Manila to Cebu on one's birthday in a month with two blue moons (Mar. 1 and Mar. 30), happens all the time! No big deal.

  17. so?

Jing has admitted she is OC...and she seems stable enough...*grin*

    OC brothers and sisters, unite!

  18. cge nga, name 3 more documented and certified true na instances of the same thing happening....maybe I will consider it..

  19. hmm...my mom said...if for the little things they can't even take care of it...how about the more valuable ones?

malay...baka yung mas malaki mas may points sa kanila...

  20. I have three friends who have experienced the same exact thing (down to the dual blue moon phenomenon). But in the interest of their privacy, I cannot divulge their names or the circumstances of the incidents.

  21. You mean they credit you (free) air miles as compensation?

  22. ha...mag-gold and vermillion moon pa yata before mangyari yan...

  23. But I think it is a fair deal. Sa ibang airlines, they give meal vouchers pag nede-delay ang flight, etc.

  24. happy birthday!naku lumipad na pabalik sa baguio yung walis mo heheheheh

  25. in know what u feel anak hihihihiihhi.grabe takbo at karipas ang ginawa mo dyan!

  26. i fell somebody probably took it and perharp felt it will be good for doing some cleaning.
Alternatively, it must be special broom to behold.
Come to think of it,a broom in the cockpit of a plane!
    hahaha!

  27. IMHO, a delay in flight would not be the same as losing someone's checked-in luggage, regardless of its value...

hence giving me meal vouchers (hmm...unless siguro a first-class dinner in some swanky resto?) is not the best way to handle my ruffled fur...

  28. thanks Che!

mukhang enchanted broom nga yon..hehehe..flew back to its maker *wink*

  29. hahaha...both brooms (the one I bought with Faith) and this one (with Jing) took a lot of effort to get them back to Manila...

yung violet (with Faith) nagsimba pa with me at St. Joseph's...LOL

  30. LOL...

yes, a broom coming from Baguio is definitely more special than the ordinary ones we get from the stores...

I hope that broom gives whoever took it some dust bunnies up his/her nose!

  31. of course, since its been 1 week na from my time of arrival here, and no news..I expect they will tell me they haven't found it...so I refrained from calling them on Easter Sunday at baka ma-resurrect pa ang aking irritation...

  32. update..and to be fair to PAL...they sent me the payment for the broom...which I said was Php 150.

although in reality no price tag can be attached to all the effort I did in bringing it home (hmm..I should have told them they also made me pay for the excess baggage on the broom)...at least PAL Mactan sent the payment over to our house instead of me filing a long track of paper.

Probably because I told them my dad used to work with PAL...hehehe...

otherwise I was told that I had to file, fill out forms and wait back in Manila. So there ends the story.
