Drinking strawberry wine from Baguio, while I am working. Hmm..must be an acquired taste. Oh well, 2 more different wine bottles to try out. *hic*

  3. Why did you say "must be an acquired taste?"

  4. An acquired taste often refers to an appreciation for a food or beverage that is unlikely to be enjoyed by a person who has not had substantial exposure to it, usually because of some unfamiliar aspect of the food or beverage.

I obviously am the person who has not had substantial exposure to strawberry wines or wines for that matter :-)

just the occasional sherry, cognac, whisky, gin, vodka, merlot, cabernet sauvignon (and not even that much)...can't remember others I tasted while I was in California.

one of my favored wines actually just come from Marks and Spencer at galing Spain...which I always keep forgetting anong name..though I can recognize the bottle..haha!

  12. Isn't bugnay tiny berries from a tree?
Red when young but turns black when ripe.

  14. haha..I was working at home and thought a glass or two wouldn't hurt while I was doing all my emails.
I did double check my emails before sending them to see if I was saying something profound *wink*

  15. hmm..yeah, I think you are right..the bugnay was noted to be something like cherries or berries.

yacon (from the picture I see on the bottle) seems to be some kind of root crop...when I look at it I think of kamote..eheh!
