I hope everyone had a great time. What's cooking?
ReplyDeleteJing was cooking a combination of broccoli, carrots, garlic from the stuff we bought at Baguio...
ReplyDeletethey are with me now in my unit, Che is cooking some chayote tops...
Oh yes.......ET
ReplyDeleteNaka pag recharge ba kayong batteries nyo? Looks like you all had a great time!
ReplyDeleteCould I have my dinner there? :-)
ReplyDeletehahaha...Faith! mwaah!
ReplyDeletekanina, I thought of you during the lunch cooking session we had...kaso 1 plus pm na kami natapos in cooking all because of my small kitchen and pa-isa-isa na luto sa mga viands hehe...
sabi ko pa naman..sayang si F8 sana kc mahilig ng veggies..kaso strict ang oras nya sa work...hay...wish you could have been with us..kaso magluluto ka rin *wink*
Pearl arrived around 1 pm plus, after her queue of meetings..and she was bearing gifts (thanks Pearl!) and we all settled down to eat: veggie dish ni Jing, blanched chayote tops ni Che, sardines ni Joey (yung Nuri), chicharitos with super-anghang Pinakurat vinegar, strawberries for dessert...and konting strawberry wine (yung tayong dalawa sa Baguio)....
mukhang busog naman sila...
lack of sleep, strained muscles and bruises due to cave adventure...pero we all had a super-fun time at Sagada-Baguio....
ReplyDeletegrabe...adventure! I hope Jing posts soon the Sumaging cave pics..though we could not take all the pics we wanted coz we had to concentrate on trekking the cave...the bonding over all the sliding and rolling and tripping and slipping and rapelling and squeezing and diving and free foot spa?
priceless :-)
ooh..drew barrymore was so cute :-)
ReplyDeleteMarami din bats?
ReplyDeleteHope they liked that too:-)
Arrived home near midnight and woke up at 5am to do my powerpoint presentation. Hayy.
ReplyDeleteoh yes, you could hear 'em
ReplyDeleteJing and I were candidates sana for tetanus shots nga sana..kc there were bat droppings on some parts of the cave..and while I had a minor scrape on my left arm, si Jing naman ay may gasgas on her leg which was bleeding..e baka daw bacteria..
sa awa ng Panginoon, we forgot about the shots na and arrived back in Baguio na walang lockjaw :-)
di nga ako kumain kc di ako tinirhan..hehehe...
ReplyDeletenakupo...nakakunot noo nga ako pano ko mapapasok si Pearl na ang sikip na namin and with all my things helter-skelter...
ReplyDeletehowever, game naman sila, so na-squeeze in din..hehehe..di na kaya more than that at baka don na kayo sa laundry area ko kakain nakapatong sa kanilang luggage...next time na Sagada - Baguio trip para may excuse mag cooking ang mga girls..hehehe...pwede po kayong sumali as long as magluto rin kayo *wink*
e di ba midnight tayo nakarating Makati? I would have thought mga 1 am na kayo makarating and tulog.
Di bale...may AIM training ka...maski 2 hours sleep at pagawa ng presentation...tsiken pid!
naku back to civilization na ang mga namundok!!!! Hope you find the time to rest...I am reminded of a comic strip sa MAD magazine.
ReplyDeleteA guy who looked wasted was seated on the floor when a friend exclaimed, "Man! You look terrible! Tired? You should go on a vacation!" The man retorted: "Oh yeah? - Guess what: I just came from one!"
HUGS
sobrang sipag talaga!!!mag dAY OFF naman kayo ni Ms. G hihihi.thanks so much sa trip!one of the BEST!
ReplyDeleteToo close for comfort. I'da called in dead. lol
ReplyDeleteBetcha you were both keeping a close eye on each other the whole time, though. =))
ReplyDeleteWe were, but our jaws had too much exercise from all the talking and laughing, they didn't get the chance to lock. lol
ReplyDeleteLOL. Parang ako 'ata yun. Bugbog ang katawan, but it's all worth it. I'd love to return to Sagada. We barely scraped the surface of things and places to explore.
ReplyDeleteAawww...wawa. Thanks so much for making this photo-lakad/photo-lamon possible. Repeat! Repeat! Pero sana less busy na kayo. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it, Joey. Yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! too true in my case...parang gusto ko mag sick leave after all the vacation leaves I have had...
ReplyDeletee ako kampante ako sa sarili ko kc I vaguely remember from childhood that allergic yata ako sa tetanus shots...so whether I liked it or not..99.9% I was sure di ako magpapa-inject.
ReplyDeleteanyway, I kind of had a good feel about the bats in the place...and I was really thinking that from the minor scrape I had wala akong nakuha na bat poop anywhere near it...
well, the symptoms already manifested before the bat cave experience ....
ReplyDeleteoh you know what I'm talking about - like being up after dark and being so white (di kc naarawan)....
in fairness, di ko pa nakita ang fangs....ehehe!
Well, you know...I'm good at scooping. Clean as you go. lol.
ReplyDeleteSa leg ang injury. Hindi sa leeg. lol
ReplyDeleteAy, di na ako white. Kulay flesh na ako ngayon. Ang laking improvement.
ReplyDeleteNaalaala ko tuloy ang coffin. LOL
don't forget sometimes orange ang fez...
ReplyDeleteonce in a while pink-cheeked ..basta nga galing sa coffin...*grin*
Abangan ang collection of bloopers and anecdotes ni Cat. Mwahahahaha!
Walang ebidensiya 'cept for my scrapes and bruises. =P
ReplyDelete*whips out cellphone and points to it* -> buti di sinama ang cellphone...hahaha!
ReplyDeletenaka-cp pa sila Caloy and Teri yata...mwahaha!
hihintayin ko ang mga yan together with your pics!
ReplyDeleteOh no!
ReplyDeleteMwahahahahahahaha!!
ReplyDeleteSana inuwi mo. Magaling na fertilizer yung Guano aka as bat poop:-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you love it, Jing!!!
ReplyDeleteSa susunod na kabanata:-)
ReplyDeletehahaha...now we can laugh about it coz we escaped from the bat cave na...
ReplyDeletepero inside it was truly and "adventure".
frankly, I cannot conceive of even trying out for the 6 or 4 hour caving experience..eh 2 hours lang...gutom na ako..LOL
ReplyDeletedi lang bat poop..amoy chicken shit pa kami lahat on the ride back...LOL
Baka maliit na vampire,malay mo.
ReplyDeleteAh...kaya pala di umabot sa leeg. LOL
ReplyDeleteu three live in one house now? =D
kelan kaya ako makakasam sa inyo anoh. i really love Baguio, and i bet i will adore Sagada.
ReplyDeletehaaay Cat, murag not in the near furure, hu hu hu!
Baguio has changed somewhat...when was the last time you were there Chiarz?
ReplyDeleteI know you will like Sagada..may old world charm pa sya...which I think is not found in Baguio anymore these days...unless, as they say, its in Camp John Hay?
anyway, Chiarz...once mag-teenager na imong mga chikiting, pwede ka na mo-escapo to trips outside of Davao *grin*
thanks for the invite girls, yummy lunch! JOEY!!! sarap ng sardines, salamat!
ReplyDeletethanks for coming over Pearl...naku, sorry for the mess..kung alam ko lang may visita ako, I'd have cleaned it top to bottom and hid all my junk..hahaha!
