By chance I saw "The Ramen Girl" last night. It sort of reminded me of "Tampopo" which I really enjoyed to the max. Now am trying to find out where I placed my copy of that film.
Tampopo or Tanpopo (?) was one film shown during our classes on leadership while in Biz-school...
it amused me later to find out that it was categorized as "porn" film..though I think its really more of comedy and yes, definitely something about leadership if you look beyond the scenes.
When I compared the cut versus the uncut version later on, the latter for me was still one example of a film which does show the elements of leadership and having a business..
*though that egg-passing-kiss was somewhat urgh! for me*
generally speaking, it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be...there may be some moments (I especially liked the idea of = with each bowl of ramen is a step towards perfection but well, ho-hum...for the rest of it...

I loved Tampopo! I have a copy in my collection. Perhaps I should watch it again.
