I heard good things about Merrell brand of shoes so I bought one of their "water pro" ones. I must be so used to Crocs because while the new shoes were really comfortable on my arch and heel...for the first time in my life, even with socks, my left toes had blisters resulting from wearing rubber shoes...hehehe!

  3. ang prob lang with with my pair of Crocs is that its not a good partner if I go to the beach or go caving (though it survived Sumaging Cave in Sagada)...

  4. I used Crocs when I trekked to Sagada big waterfalls. They worked better than the trainer shoes. Wala nga lang talagan ankle support ang Crocs, you are right.

  5. the first time lang na disillusioned ako sa Crocs?

that accident which happened to my left foot the night before we met up with Jing and Meann sa flapjacks..

almost everybody asked me to be careful in wearing heels...when all that time the accident happened while I was wearing Crocs...so..touche...walang ankle support....

  7. hehehe..in the long run, we had to take our shoes off in Sumaging Cave though....so at least naka-free foot scrub, natural version...

*but I prefer it than to the rocks I had to go through when looking for Sabang Waterfalls...ang sakit!*

  8. I have a pair of Merrell, and I actually love it. So sorry your breaking-in experience isn't so bright and rosy.:-(

  9. thanks Choie :-)

I also seemed to have developed rashes (even if I wore socks) from the tongue part of the shoe.....weird...or maybe it was the hot weather in Batanes which made that part vulnerable to itchiness...

mind you, I really liked using it though because I could scramble up the rocks and with all the walking we did, I didn't have sore feet...so its still good in a way...

  10. That sounds painful.

I have a pair of Merrell shoes that look like a pair of real shoes, but are soled like sneakers. I wear them to work and they're pretty comfortable.
