TY. JIC
ReplyDeletei need to use it.
yw! ttyl...
ReplyDeleteI use acronyms mostly in "rooms" where I know people are accustomed to them. Otherwise, the practice is not well-received and even considered impolite when used (except for the very common ones like TY, LOL, TTYL , and a few others) unnecessarily. In internet game rooms where people are multitasking and where the live chat screen may scroll very fast, the short cuts are a big help....and are the norm.
ReplyDeletebtw, I would like to thank Gerald, my officemate...there we were chatting on OC (office communicator which we use at the office to chat within the company and with our customers)...then he sent an email, copying me...
ReplyDeletein the body of the email..I saw he had written "afaik" which at that time, I could not really decipher...and so this post was born for my reference....
kung memoryado ko lang, gusto ko dito sa Multiply yung mga emoticons for my usual LOL, LMAO, ROFL..etc.
ReplyDeletebut multi-tasking is my middle name..kaya it helps when one is trying to chat with a lot of other folks though I already do type fast these days
thanks for this...some friends of mine use it. and i just can't decipher them...now i know..thanks to you!
ReplyDeleteLike a new language.
ReplyDeletenext it will be numbers...just numbers...
ReplyDelete*shudders*
and maybe just zeros and ones...
*faints*
If people start writing in binary I'm done.
