January 3, 2008 - I met up with Pearl here in my beloved Cebu City, Philippines.

I used to eat at The Mikado if I wanted Japanese food (it was accessible and inexpensive), but Ginza is also good in terms of quality and ambiance.

III. The ubiquitous Starbucks at Asiatown IT Park.

I don't need to explain about Starbucks...as its more commonplace than mushrooms these days.

Modesty aside, the Tinder Box business was started by my cousin (daugher of my dad's eldest sister) and her hubby. But I don't go on bandying it about to ask for a discount...hehehe! Still, if you would not be in the mood for eating at their restaurant, an exploratory trip to see their wines and deli is a treat.
