August 24-25 @ Antipolo (album)

Eugenio Lopez Center
Antipolo City, Philippines

Reason: Attended a FEAST (Forex Education and Abundance Strategies Training) and FxMT (Forex Manual Trading) given by FX:JL

My reason was for a little getaway on a holiday...along of course with the chance to know a bit more about a subject which is somewhat mysterious and terrifying (?) for me :-)

Little did I know that a place like this existed in Antipolo City...and here I thought it was only Tagaytay which I could try for a getaway. The food was good and delicious, we had fruits with every course and the first soup I tried was enough to make me wish I was just staying there for a vacation and not for any strain on the brain :-)

My only regret was that due to weather and tight schedule I wasn't really able to use the pool or do any walking around as we were ensconced in the "classroom". "Never stop learning" is a mantra for me so all in all, a good experience to have, and an edifying one at that.

As it was wet weather, pictures taken with an Olympus waterproof u850SW.

*grin* no problem..glad to answer and to help people get interested in the different places in the country which they have not been to or would like to visit...

its a convention center I would think...it is owned by ABS-CBN (Lopez you know) and a lot of trainings and seminars can be held here...I don't think there are offices in the building, I would compare it to a mountain resort (coz its high up in Antipolo) but its not as if its teeming over with guests as its a bit out of the way...

Wow, ang ganda na pala nito! This place in Antipolo was an abandoned structure during the Martial Law years. At the time Marcos declared Martial Law, the Lopezes were starting to build this Antipolo aerie. Then, as we all know, they were persecuted, having fallen out of favor with the dictator.

We used to drive by this area, sometimes deep into the night and we'd gaze up at the unfinished structure. Eerie, in the moonlight. But even then, I knew that it could have been an awesome sight if finished. =)

yes, it is very nice, going up and up....their chapel was simple and natural ang dating...di lang ako nag=picture at baka batukan ako ng priest...all around ang daming photo ops...kaya nga lang it was either raining, fogging, or di ako nakagising to see the sunrise, or nasa classroom ako during sunset...so during dinner and check-in lang ako nakakuha ng photographs...

tara, puntahan natin ulit! if I had known Cathy (yung classmate namin sa AIM) was already in the Philippines, I would have dropped by her house too..they live near here...

yes, I wish sometimes may mga onsen din dito sa atin..or at least heated swimming pools...but well, meron namang pools sa Laguna with water being fed into it from hot springs...
