I did mention in an earlier post how I was hankering for getting a taste of Fely J's luscious recipes.
So, a couple of weeks ago, when Che and Pearl and I met up at Wendy's GB1, I managed to drag them to said restaurant in Greenbelt 5. I pleaded and begged since I really wanted to try it out and I also didn't think I could order more than 1 dish and finish it by myself :-)
They good-naturedly accompanied me (no doubt thinking - what the heck is happening with this woman? parang naglilihi ah, hanap ng hanap ng Fely J), after Che had her pototo-fix at Wendy's.
As usual, when girls like us get together there are hilarious moments...
such as chili cake and Voltes V revivals...*giggles unashamedly*
I loved the food...my favorite was the "Dilis"cious rice and of course, as my sweet tooth will attest, I also enjoyed very much a piece of their guava pie (uh-huh!) and leche flan (always one of the best desserts I like to eat). The cute little clams and sisig were also good and nothing to be sneezed at, the atmosphere was like that of a gracious old home with portraits adorning the walls. There were a lot of diners...*sigh* I hope I can visit again.
of course...I may try out Abe's also *food-junkie to the max!*

we got a whiff of the food as it was set out since the table they were serving it to was the next one to us...had to take a quick snap before they could whip it to them...
I was full, but aroma of food always makes my mouth water..

during the ordering of the meal, Pearl was interested in the dessert, but as the meal wound down to a close, she thought we should try something else, like crepe at Cafe Breton's which was also within walking distance...
then I said (kulit no?) I wanted to try guava/bayabas pie..which is unusual and a first for me...and of course I said they may have leche flan...

let's go for crepe one of these days..I've got a hankering for it too...I've tasted yung recommended ni Ms G with raclette cheese..ok din!
