November 21, 2007 (Wednesday) - thanks to the needling of Sir B, Pearl had no choice but to treat us to a sumptuous merienda at Masuki (more well known before as Ma Mon Luk in QC), and coffee/tea at Starbucks {or as I fondly call it in my mind - Estarbuko}.
Thanks Pearl! Congratulations again on your 10 years...{sa 15 years, let's take the diamond sa pin/ring mo and pawn it ha? hehehe...}
I do feel sad {rubbing salt into the wound} that 1/2 of the cause of such an occasion was not there to share the big, delicious siopao (about 6 inches in diameter) and the piping-hot various mami.
Where was Sir B?
In Davao, where walang Masuki siopao!
Pero may inihaw naman sya na panga...at..durian....at mangosteen...at..roe...at inihaw na liempo...at..tinola...at kinilaw, lato and other seaweeds...not to mention may beer pa at lansones...{yan yung text nya!}. actually, everytime nagyaya si dear hubby na mag masuki, sabi ko....ayaw ko dyan! sa iba na lang and we would usually end up in Mien San which is a stone's throw away from Masuki...and that one is a Cantonese cuisine...masarap din!

I very rarely go to Ortigas nowadays, it was just good luck that we hitched a ride to this place.
When you are in Makati, drop me a text or line...kita-kita ta para makabalita pod ko naunsa na ang mga relatives nato diri...I haven't seen my cousins or uncles/aunts here...text ra ko Tito Rudy once in a while...
