A-strolling during a December (album)

Some shots taken at Ayala Ave., Greenbelt, Salcedo Park, Mall of Asia.

Ayala Ave is a place I walk almost everyday and night, so this is no surprise. Same also for Greenbelt when it is weekends.

Salcedo Park (I have to recheck this) is near the back of Citibank and since I had to pass by here at one of the Christmas parties I attended, I resolved to go back one night to take pics of the kids and dogs frolicking there. There is an organic market every Saturday (but I felt the items were expensive) where one could find the Cebu lechon and other home baked goodies. As usual, the guards at the park asked me what in the world I was doing with my camera. *sigh* long story.

I had an unplanned visit to the Mall of Asia (aka MoA) - since my teammate from Belgium sent me a couple of yummy Belgian chocolates. By a stroke of luck, a Pinay friend of her husband's officemate's wife (Pinoys can be found anywhere!) was going home to the Philippines for a well-deserved break, and she kindly brought the package. After mulling over different venues, we finally agreed to meet up in this mall. Good thing too as I was able to discover and buy a couple of manga volumes which I have been searching for. December may mean traffic, but going around still brings pleasant surprises for the overworked credit card of mine.

I don't understand this paranoia over photographers.

yes, its free BNK, pero you would have to get off if after one turn around the mall, tapos na yon and other people get on..I was tempted to stay sana to rest my feet even if ikot lang ako ng ikot...hehehe

during the guards' questioning, I think they were thinking I was going to sell the photograph or something...e sabi ko, I wanted to share how the park looks like dito sa mga friends ko nasa abroad...at saka, e yung iba nagdala ng cellphone or maliit na cam di sinita, e bakit ako na ganon lang naman pakay ko...*wink*

nag-ok naman afterwards, but that is why di ako masyadong enganyo ngayon bumili ng SLR...in fact..huhuhu..yung kodak cam kung maliit which I rely on for panoramic shots...sira yata dahil sa Pagsanjan ko....so hanap ako para ma repair sya...

really, if they could have a camera na maliit, handy, ganon ka powerful as a bigger cam, shockproof, waterproof, etc. mas gusto ko yon..ang hirap toting this cam along...either you are afraid ma snatch sya or isipin ka ng mga tao na reporter ka..ehem...

btw, when I was in the US pala, napagkamalan akong press photographer when I was visiting the department stores in downtown Cincinnati...shempre punta ako sa zoo after my window shopping, so naka-swing na sa gilid ko ang camera ko...

I was going to write something in my blog about yesterday since, whenever I am in a hurry, things happen to me, and yesterday was no exception since I tried to go to the office in the middle of the rally....pagtingin ko sa pics ko sa phone nag-iba isip ko..parang perya lang eh...

If you look at the lens of your fone, it is just as big as a gem. That's just the eye. The recorder could be in your pocket or your bag. And also, i've seen somewhere a science project for camera that is supposed to be in your eyeglasses.
