Nara, Japan
After unpacking, I decided to seek nourishment, but was half-afraid as usually Japanese restaurants close early. It was already nearing 8 pm when I set out so I steeled myself to eat a piece of bread and drink the usual o-cha from the ubiquitous vending machines should I fail in my quest!
I did see some usual sights along the way but was concentrating on deciding where to eat. In the end, I tried a restaurant which looked as if it had a lot of people. While I dared order some plum wine or was it plum sake, the tempura somewhat disappointed me...but all in all, it was a good meal..and I made it back in time before 11 pm to have the bath all to myself. After happily splashing (with no rubber ducky though) and staying as late as I dared by myself in the public bath, I was ready for my comfy futon and another adventure tomorrow.

it seemed to be some advertisement pala of mga activities or festivals...
I just found it hilarious that there was this big fish and a drawing of smaller cats...

that is ...so...so..true! huhuhu! ang aga nga...grrr
but why in summer matagal silang magsara? is it because, like in the Philippines, the people are loitering in the malls to cool themselves off in the airconditioned malls? *wink*

presentation of Japanese meals is really entertaining...
ako naman kc usually mostly taste lang, bahala presentation (I got used to the Philippine food style we have during fiestas wherein we just slap everything on our plates during the buffets hehehe!)
