Last year in my trip to Cincinnati, I spent a weekend with May too (I affectionately refer to her as Mayang..don't know though if she is unhappy with that *grin*) but it was in Kentucky that time, on Newport on the Levy to be more precise.
This year it wasn't her birthday but she was still the May who was my classmate (she is CM while I was ICS), the "M" in CLAIMERS and who danced with us during ringhop. It was generous of her to spend her weekend with me and leaving her hubby Dave for a little while :-)
We reminisced again about old college buddies. I wish we could go see Marimel in Florida, Alexis in Orange County LA (hey, he called out of the blue! while we were eating) and whoever else who could be with us in this country.

Hahaha, as they say in Japan: wampatan (one pattern)! Same same. The room in The Westin Hotel LAX that Hugz and I stayed in last October looks exactly the same – drapery, beddings, carpet, chairs, lamps! =)
Business hotel talaga ang Westin. At the time we were there, there was a convention going on and most of the billeted guests were business people. Konti lang kaming mga tourists. Hehe, kaya siguro nakuha ko yung booking for a song – $240/pax for 5 pax that includes round trip airfare SFO-LA-SFO, 2 rooms for 3 nights 4 days at Westin and a rental van for the same period to boot!

its good to find bargains like that..e ako last minute mostly..so its a hit and miss system sometimes...

walang color lang yung toes ko...virgin toes yan..never been touched and never tried nail polish...ehem...
yup, they had Starbucks coffee but it was the tea I consumed...

May was asking me what I wanted to eat...in the end, we just looked for a near restaurant on the way to Kenwood Mall ...so ayan, naka Red Lobster ng di oras si May..

Keen, didn't go to any stores featuring stuff like that...sorry...:-(
in fact, my luggage was so full of books, na di nga ak nakabili masyado ng souvenirs..just ref magnets which I collect and which are easy to stuff in my already overflowing bags...hay...such difficulty keeping luggage light...

it was a blessing when I got to NYC..it kept me toasty warm...

last year parang Sunday with May yon...kc mukhang sunday yung bday nya...
